Born 1968 Coburg/Bavaria/Germany
Learned to play Saxophone aged 14.
Played professionaly since 1986 in different formations.
1991 Stipendium Berklee College of Music Boston/Massachusetts.
1993 Stipendium New School for Social Research Jazz Program New York.
Lived in New York until 2000 and worked as bandleader and sideman with different bands.
Since 2001 he has played in Germany, Switzerland, Ukrania, Russia and Marocco at diverse festivals and has written film music.
He has played with such luminaries as Matt Garrison, Richard Bona, Cecil Bridgewater, Joe Chambers and Lew Soloff.
